South Leicester Memorial Park and Crematorium were honoured and proud to be asked by Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide – SOBS to the opening of their Leicester group last week.
Those present were brave and committed, sharing such stories and life changing events, courage does not cover it, the evening was moving and heart rendering yet it opened your heart to a sequence of events that many of us cannot possibly comprehend.
This forum and organisation offers a priceless volume of support, encouragement, understanding and friendship at what is undoubtedly the most difficult time of their lives for those affected.
Below you will see images of the Lord Lieutenant and Lord Mayor of Leicester but there were community leaders, MP’s, key personnel from the Military and many others present which shows the importance of this vital part of support for the community.
Memoria will continue to support these critical cogs of bereavement support within the communities that surround our beautiful facilities.
